Gear Swap ?

OK - So you sell your boat on mountainbuzz to someone living in montana - which gets sent first the boat or the money.

I just sent a boat out with the agreement that we would sent the boat and the $$ on the same day. They claimed to send the cash and never did. They waited to get the boat (never been used, i had sent pics) and then claimed to have sent the money out. Even if they do send it now, i feel it is customary to send the check, wait for it to clear and then ship the merchandise.

Am i right here? For future reference.

I wont ship anything till the money has cleared my acct, not received, cleared. Same way it works on ebay.

i've bought and sold boats online about 7-8 times. Money always goes first. If the buyer has a problem with that then tell them to stick it up their ass.

Hope you don't get screwed here. You're a sitting duck now,though.
