FYI, see below. Here's what's on offer:

2009 Follow-up Lottery (one lottery is open)

Applications for a 2009 Follow-up Lottery will be accepted through the weighted lottery website from 7/29/2008 through noon (Mountain Standard Time) on 8/5/2008. The following dates will be available:

Standard Sized Trips: (allows 1 to 16 participants at a time)

Jan 2009: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 18, 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 29, 31
Feb 2009: 1, 4, 5
Dec 2009: 5, 6, 8, 9, 25, 28, 29, 30

As usual, there are lots of winter dates available, and the summer...good luck. Yours, Tom

If this trend keeps up........maybe they will go back to a first come first serve method for winter trips. IMO, if they didn't push to fill these trips...... there would be less drift wood being burned and fewer user days being spent in the canyon. Of coarse....it looks good on paper to them if they do fill all the slots....... but is it really necessary?

Whats the GC like in Winter....

obviously snow, but does it ever warm up down in the shady ditch? Must be a cold trip. Asking cause a friend has a permit for February.
