G-Ride Vs. EZG

I'm thinking about trading my g-ride 6.2 for an EZG 50. I'm looking for something that will be a little faster in the flatwater, but paddles somewhat similar to the g-ride which I otherwise love. I'm 165 which I think is on the heavy end for g-ride6.2 but right in the middle for an ezg50. Will that help the ezg be faster in the flat?

gh - You and some others took me down parkdale early last season. I think at the time you had a g-ride and you now have an EZG. How do you think the two compare?

Hey Leo, the ezg has more speed and well it does everything better. I began to realize that the gride, while being a fun boat, doesnt offer much in performance. I actually picked up a used kingpin late in the year last year and liked it much better even for a downriver boat. In my opinion though the ezg is the best allround boat made today.
