As we continue to balance storage with anticipated inflow, we are making more changes in releases at Ruedi Reservoir.
Most of you probably noticed an increase in releases from Ruedi yesterday. We bumped up about 50 cfs. That put flows in the Fryingpan River around 290 cfs.
We are making another change today. We'll be bumping up an additional 50 cfs later this afternoon, between 5 and 6 p.m. That means by this evening, the gage below Ruedi Dam will read around 340 cfs. That flow also includes a small contribution from the Rocky Fork.
We will be up in El Jebel Wednesday night, May 18, to present information about spring run-off. We will be participating in the Colorado River District's annual State of the River meeting for the Roaring Fork. For more information on the State of the River public meeting, please visit the River District at Calendar of Events.
