Front Range "river" boat??

OK, I thought I'd query the Front Range boating intelligentsia. Help me pick a boat that will offer that special security for front range "rivers." When I look at harder (but not even the hardest) runs on the Poudre, Clear Creek, even the Ark, they look like small rivers with creeky tendencies. I'm not thinking about big river boating. I already have a playboat and a Jive but for pushing my skill level I think I want a little extra security beyind even the Jive. (Or maybe the Jive is perfect?!?!)Some folks have suggested a GT. Others have suggested a creeker (but not the real short potatoes) such as an Embudo, Salto or H3. Sure, the hard boys can run anything in anything but for those of us with a severe case of modest skills, what boat do you suggest? I weigh 165 have average legs and feet so I fit anything in my weight class. Again, this isn't a "play down the river" boat but rather one that I go to on high pucker days. Thanks.
