Fresh water sources on the San Juan

Hey Y'all,

Are there any good sources of fresh water on the San Juan, that won't destroy my filter, or do I need to bring all my water for 6 days?

May the sun shine warm upon your face.

I carry all my water, usually fill up at Matrimony Springs near Moab. Better water than what you get in Bluff or MH

We tried letting the water settle, then running it through a giant industrial pre filter. It still pretty much killed the filter. Luckily it was a ceramic filter so we could clean it. Way to much work. Carry your water and refill at Mexican Hat. There may be some seasonal pools, but they are not always easy to get to, and I wouldn't count on them to have water.
