Lots of surfer carnage that day, lots of busted boards. We got out in kayaks at the Marine Room, but it was baby stuff. Guy died the next day at Tamarack, but it was concluded it was due to a seizure.
BUT our local tidal bore might be working this weekend (San Diego). E-mail me if you want directions. Makes standing waves,...in the ocean.
