Which one are you interested in? Im guessing the spice, since the solo is a full on creek boat. No doubt, I love the Solo, which in my opinion is the most underrated creek boat out there today, but for one boat the spice would be a better pick. As Fluid states. The spice is a compromise boat, it isn't going to cartwheel effortlessly, but you can cartwheel it, and it isn't going to run steep creeks really well, although you can run pretty substantial stuff with it, but it is a nice well-rounded craft. Be advised, however that the large spice is very big. I am 6' 180lbs and fit with room to spare in the medium. They are very comfortable, very adjustable and make excellent river runners. The only thing I'm not too stoked on is the old style foam foot block bulkhead system, which if you set it to yourself is really nice and far more substantial than a jackson footbag, but if many people will be using this boat, will be frustrating to mess with. Otherwise they have great plastic and nice volume distribution.
