Floating the Blue Question

I was thinking for floating the Blue below Dillion Res. from the Gravel Pit to Columbine Landing. I have a 16ft cat and will have my 5yr old son with us. At the current flows, does anyone know what I can expect as far as difficulty? I have never floated this section, but from what I could see along the road it didn't look too bad.

Thanks in advance for your input.
