Flaming Gorge Pipeline Petition

The Salt Lake City Deseret News ran a long story today about the Flaming Gorge Pipeline. Hits all of the major issues well, including impacts to existing water uses and to the environment. It makes very clear that this is an entire Colorado River basin issue, not just a State of Colorado issue:

Also, LOTS of groups posted the petition yesterday on Facebook, blogs, and email alerts! The "Say No to the Flaming Gorge Pipeline" petition had over 350 signers just yesterday. Thank You! 24 days to go (the petition closes on September 9th). If you haven't signed the petition yet, it's super easy! Go to:

And please forward it to people you know who might be interested, post it on your own Facebook page, etc....

This is an important issue for all of us. The water should stay in the river!!

Thank you, from the Grand Canyon Private Boaters Assn.

I'll freely admit I don't agree with a lot of the stances that the supporting groups of this petition take on other issues, but on this one I support it fully. Just signed the petition.

Thanks! We have posted it on our Facebook page Stop Gross Dam. We are fighting the moffat expansion and the diversion of water from the Colorado and the Frasier to the front range.

Spread the word, save our Rivers! They won't stop till it's too late.

Yes, I think so, check out the Stop Gross Dam page on Facebook, or also visit the TEG (the environmental group) website at THE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP (TEG) - HOME for more information.

Sign up for the newsletter, and you'll be kept up to date on the latest.
