Film Premiere in Boise Idaho

The World Premiere of the Stone and Water Production Exploring Idaho will be showing one night only Friday, April 10th 2009 at the Knitting Factory here in Boise. I think there are only a few tickets available at Alpenglow on Bogus Basin road but donít worry if you didnít get yours. They are available at the door for ONLY $6.00. That isnít much to see the latest kayak film as featured in Kayak Session Magazine and the only film to have exclusive footage of the first descent(s) of Soldier Creek, and Clover Creek, the exploratory run(s) of Warm Springs Creek, and Succor Creek. If that doesn't interest you, come down to see the much talked about youngest known descent of the notorious North Fork of the Payette by a 10 year old and 14 year old or perhaps see what Deep Creek is all about as a nice fall, late season run. Not your speed? Come check out what the classic runs like Big Sands Creek or the Selway River is all about. While your there you can see some short films by some up and coming paddlers who are trying to raise money to go to World Class Kayak Academy for a year or two of High School so they can travel the world and live the dream. You can also learn more about the wonderful non-profit organization First Descents and how they help people that have cancer.

Oh, none of that is your speed? Well come check out some local bands like IQEQ, Cap Gun Suicide, Bellamy Rose, or The James Thomas Revolution who came all the way from California just to play at this amazing event and also contributed music for the film.

Copies of the film will only be $12 at the premiere. Help support the filming of the upcoming projects and purchase your copy there.

Check out the website for more details, Stone And Water Productions

Thanks, and see you tomorrow night!
