Exostosis
I had the surgery last October. I am still having a lot of problems with both ears. I can hear better and the blockages are gone, but I am still getting infections and I have to go back every six weeks or so for a painful "procedure" to keep the scar tissue in check.
I don't think that my surgeon is to blame, but I wouldn't really recommend him anyway. He was kind of a jerk.
Anyway, do your homework and make sure that the surgery is really what you want to do. I had lost 80% of my hearing in one ear and had no idea. The only reason I went through with it was that I kept getting ear infections.
