Experienced paddler new to Seattle looking for river trips

I just moved from the Southeast (Atlanta, GA) to the Pacific Northwest, specifically Bellevue, WA. My daughter (15 years old) and I (her 40ish year old mom) are looking for a solid class two run with good access and easy shuttle. Can anyone point to an organization, outfitter or club that could point us there? Or simply tells us of rivers that fit this description?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Check out professorpaddle.com for all your Washington whitewater needs. There are run descriptions and you can find people to paddle with there. I live on the east side of the Cascades, so I'm not super familiar with class II near Seattle, but I believe there are sections of the Green and the Skykomish that would fit the bill for you.

River Access is usually used for places where access has been restricted or eliminated over landowner issues or something else. While you are posting in "River Access" and anyone going through the Home/Portal will see it, you will get more views in Trip Planner or the main Boaters Forum.
And this post would certainly fit in either of those categories. I am in Idaho but welcome to the Northwest, tons of great year round paddling up there.

And welcome to the Buzz.

Definitely go see the green, headworks section and the yo-yo sound right up your alley. The skykomish has some II options as well as the stilly, and sauk. Being in Bellevue you're close to the snoqualmie too, check out the powerhouse, club stretch, and upper middle. And yeah, professor paddle is where you want to be for all things Washington. Have fun!
