Event organisers unite

Last fall or spring Mike harvey started a topic about organizing events, which included talk about how we over lap so much. The Crystal races are pretty small potatoes but we are celebrating our 40th year and I want to make sure I am conflicting as little as possible. What dates are people looking at and can we all post them.

Peter

I am not that familiar with all of the dates, but think that you are doing the right thing to get them spaced out a bit more. The Durango fest, Glenwood, Yampa, clear ceek, and fibark are the only ones I know of, but again, I don't have the dates.

Does anyone have any input on this???

Colorado Events

Dates are on the AW site. And, they do overlap quite a bit this year. I think it all has to do with how short the kayak season is in Colorado. Why not have the race in September? No other events and it would give people something to do. Oh, wait - no water that time of year. Back to the same problem. Too, many events in one state.
