Not really. There are two waves in town that are decent to play on if your in the area or live there. If your in Boulder, go to your park or to Golden, or Lyons, its not worth going to Estes unless you like tons of tourists watching you play on a wave that has a rock just under the wave at headhitting level, and another a few feet downstream. Now if you want to try some tight, manky, low water creeks, Rocky Mtn NP, has those instead, but so far I'm the only one dumb enough to bump and grind my way down them.
With the snow pack that is there this year, late may - maybe aug, best months will be later in june and july. Call the Mountainshop in Estes, ask for Dave or Patrick, they would be best to talk to if you really want information.
