Escalante Visual 4/18

Fri 4/18. Fin partially exposed, kicking up a rooster tail that made it hard to see the fin rock underneath. Level was low. Upper bony, but all drops good. Lower gorge fun.

Can still see lots of snow up high. Sunny and warm on fri, should be coming up over the weekend.

Roubideau barometer gauge was 200-210 cfs. Barometer correlation would say escalante would be low, which is was.

glad to see the Roubideau gauge living up to the expectations.

Not too many folks out there fri. Met some cool guys from crested butte whose dog fuego was scouting the lower gorge when we got there.

Report from a buddy who ran escalante today was that it came up a bit, he called it a medium level.
