Escalante?????Is it running????

Anybody check it out this weekend. I've got Monday and Tuesday off...need to creek. If anybody knows please post!!

mark, I would try to get good beta before I went, since I don't think it is warm enough at night yet. However, if you do make the trip and get hosed you shoiuld know that a friend and I have run the lower gorge at a "too low/not runnable" level. It at least makes it so it isn't a complete bust. Then high tail it to Glenwood springs and for Monday aftrernoon/tuesday and back to BV. The individual rapids in Escalante are runnable well before the inbetween water, but the flat inbetween the two gorges is horrible without decent flow.l.

Hey Mark, someone posted that Willow Creek near Stmbtsprings is running. My buddy Baker ran it a few years ago and said is was fun IV+ creeking. Not as full on as Escalante, but probrably a good warm up.
