Encampment: log in ledge just above Damnation Alley

There's a huge log in the big ledge drop just above Damnation, with the root ball on the upstream end. This one is gonna be there for years, and at least at medium levels it's a mandatory carry. I think the easier carry is on river right, and I'd suggest catching an eddy at least 150 feet or so upstream of the drop (i.e., 2 or 3 eddys up). There are 'must make' eddys on both sides just above the ledge. The last eddy on river right, in particular, is sketchy and drains out the bottom. If you miss the eddy or wash out the bottom, you're seriously screwed. There are actually two logs in the drop. The one on the right will be invisible at higher water and it's vertically pinned below water level. These create impressive rooster-tails that are visible well upstream of the drop. At low water there might be a thin line on the extreme far left, boofing into the eddy and then squeezing under the log at the bottom of the eddy. But if you missed the line it would be very ugly ...

Other than this new log, there were no other obstacles that merit special mention. 3.1 on the upper gauge was the low side of medium.
