Encampment between Riverside & Treasure
I'm looking for information regarding river hazards on the Encampment between Riverside and Treasure Island since i have never floated it.
I have always heard that there is rebar sticking up in spots along some of the diversion dams that could be potentially disastrous for a raft. Obviously the high water this year may have changed things but does anyone know if this is true as of last year. Also, are the diversion damns pretty straighforward to run (at 200-800 cfs) similar to the Roaring Fork (at normal flows).
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
