So this may be a little dated but I was wondering if anyone got a shot of the hole on the Main Salmon, ID at Elkhorn rapid in may/june? I was on a 6 day trip and I pulled the eddy beside it and couldn't see the bottom, one of the riggers who just so happens to be my boss as well and has paddled on every continent (except antartica) said it was the biggest hole he's ever seen (and he ran center lava!) I was just wondering if anyone knows the one that I'm talking about and if anyone happened to snap a pic of it? I was contemplating it but I was safety boating and my group was moving too fast to hop out and get a pic of it.
