I thought it was illegal too. They must have gotten special permission, or they snuck in.

It's illegal to luanch from either river bank to do this run. However, I hear that it is not illegal to launch off a jet boat. I understand the father of one of the participants owns a jetboat outfit on the Niagra. The Niagra run shown in Burning Time 2 appeared to have similar logisitcs. Maybe they even get picked up by the jet boat so that its all above board.

Its a total squirt boat run by the way.

Best I can tell from THIS they are not launching from jet-boats etc.......Nor did they have special permission or anything either......
