Eastern ID, Northern UT, Western WY?

I am taking off the Main Salmon on Tuesday the 14th. We hope to run something on the Payettes Tuesday afternoon, and we are looking for something/anything on the way home to camp at Tuesday night and run Wednesday morning. Anything remotely close to I-84/I-80 would work.

Jackson is probably too far out of our way. Murtaugh would be perfect - what is a minimum flow for that? Has anyone ran the Portneuf? AW says its running - is 170 cfs enough?

Anything else running on the way between Banks and Denver?

Utah is dead, and the Murtaugh is dead. Best bet is Payettes.

Not much on your route- A or B section of the Green below Flaming Gorge for some scenery maybe. Green River play park for a spot to relax and cool off in the middle of the drive.

I'd spend an extra day on the payette. There is still some fun stuff running in East ID but it isn't close to I84/80.

Bliss wave should be good and part of malad gorge, but the payettes will be WAY more fun.
