East Portal Road closed indefinitely...
The East Portal Road suffered big time during this crazy winter we had, and there are a multitude of large boulders and mud/rockslides covered the road throughout the length of its trip into the canyon. At this point the NPS says it is closed indefinitely, as it is going to take a lot of heavy work to get it opened again. Stay tuned......
