East fork Crystal?

Hi folks,
Can someone clarify where this East Fork of the Crystal run is?
Untitled Page
Is this actually the South fork Crystal? or East fork of the South fork?
Just curious;

looks like it is upstream of the South Fork of the Crystal (the East Fork confluences with Rock Creek to form the South Fork just below Schofield Pass)

Thanks, I see Rock Creek; google maps must call it east fork of the south fork crystal. Sounds super scenic; would be nice if there was a longer III-IV+ stretch up there.

super high alpine, low flow, low quality. one star at best. it will float your boat but considering location and access its laughable. its only on for the sake of completion.

there isnt much class III/IV, a couple miles but again its not really worth it.

rock creek is the west fork of the crystal. that and the east fork join right below schofield pass to form the south fork of the crystal, which runs through the devils punchbowl until it joins with the NF at Crystal City. rock creek has two sections of bedrock on it that can be boated, an ELF upper with some blatant but fun boat abusing drops and a scary lower that holds a 50+ foot falls brent toepper 1st d'd and freddy gnarquist and others have also sent. not really worth making the drive unless youre a V boater or better.
