Eagle WW Park? ...how can I help?

Hey Folks,

What's the good word on an WW park in Eagle? It seems that there would be several good spots near the rodeo event area and, even now (229cfs), it looks like there would be enough volume for a little play. I thought I saw/heard something about a rally for this a while back. Please let me know what I can do to help. Shitfire, it would be nice to have a little something for an evening/weekend quicky-fix.

Call Tim cochrane at the Eagle county chamber, in the old building at the chambers park. He would be a good start and was involved in the multi purpose building, and wanted a whitewater park there to replace the rodeo rapid/ diversion dam. I would vote for it!

I heard they created the irrigation dams with a special use permit. I think nobody has been to keen on a ww park becuase of all the money involved with impact studies and what not. However I know there are a few connected boater types in the eagle /gypsum area and w/ little effort I think it could probably happen.
