Eagle Pool Kayak Sessions

If any of you guys would like to use the Eagle pool for roll practice, etc. please give them a call at 328-5277 to express interest.

I called to find out if it was offered, and they said they were considering offering kayak times at the pool, and were very nice about it. If you think you would take advantage, please give them a call and let them know.

Also, if any of you guys want to help me with my roll, I'll show you how to row a raft and carry/drink your gear/beer for you. I'm the pale chubby guy with the orange Dagger G-Ride if they let us in the pool.

Thanks!

Ok, so the Eagle pool folks are offering kayak time on Mondays from 6 to 7ish. There is a spot you can drop off your boats by a gate, and a hose nearby. Please hose off sand, river muck, poo, etc. from your boat.

Fees are $10 bucks, includes pool admission (which is usually $6-something).

They were very accomodating and excited to offer this to the boating community, and really hope that people will take advantage. I haven't been in my kayak in a while, so I know I will. Once again, look for pale chubby guy with banna hammock to see why they call me White Lightning

Next step, raft hours so I can practice my rubber combat roll...

Hey Banana Man,
Do you have to make a reservation or just show up?
If I see you there I love to tweak people's rolls!

Just to let you guys know I called the pool and the session for tonight has been cancelled. There was an "incident" at the pool and they have to close for 24 hours (from my ol' lifeguarding days I would say some kiddo pooped in the pool!). Anyway, they will pick back up next week and it sounds like they are drop in style and when they are full they are full. I guess I'll have to wait a while for my chance to see "White Lightening" up close and personal!

I knew I shouldn't have dropped the kids off at the Eagle pool yesterday...damn!

I don't think my wife will let me rock the bannana hammock, says there are ladies with speedo wookie fetishes that won't be able to control themselves. So therefore, I will be the guy with water wings and no, that isn't a pregnant lady with a black cashmere sweater....
