The Animas is running below 300 cfs. You can get down it but there are not many features on which to play. It is refreshing but look out for the tubers!

Not to be just negative but it really sucks. There is no water. The rockwood box is your best bet, in town is not worth your time.

That is pretty negative, It is August so what do you expect? I would stop at the pine creek/numbers or hit BV or Salida holes on the way here or back. Or bring an inner tube.

just because its negative doesn't mean its not true.... and apparently JR doesn't know that the Arkansas is a done deal...sometimes the truth hurts..

Thats why I've been on my dirt bike for the last month. I was just trying to answer a guys question if you look at my first post. No surfing, lots of tubbers but wet. Any your right, the numbers just dropped out in the last week or so. It was running ok at 500 to 600 for a while which to this old east coaster is not bad.
