Durango for Memorial Day

How are flows looking for Memorial DAy weekend? Looking to do Vallecito, S. Mineral, and Upper A. Anything else I shouldn't miss?

Everything is melting a a good rate down here. Still a fair amount of snow in the mountains. Should continue to be warm and dry for the next week. I suspect that everything will be good to go if not a little big by next weekend. If it is runnable, it will probably be doable.
As far as other can't misses, do a little exploring, there is plenty of lesser known creeks that should be good to go. Have fun finding them.

Vallecito is getting punchy unless you've been down there before. If you like the Mank and want to hit a creek that has only been run a couple of times, check out Miller Creek. It's not for everyone. It drains into Lemon Reservoir, you can't miss it. Gauge is visual. I can give you a flow update if you need it. It is only a few minutes from home.

I'm down here now. We did the first gorge of Lime yesterday at a great level. A little pushy and blind, but not nearly as dificult as Vallecito at this level. Use caution entering Vallecito, if you don't have a guide be prepared to run some BIG stuff blind. Both runs have mandatory drops you have to run.

I'm guessing South Mineral is still iced over. It's pretty high elevation, and there is still a bit of snow on the runs. It might be good by next week, but have Lime as a back up plan.

We're running 3rd gorge of Lime today (IV+, actually named the 2nd gorge of Cascade) and then the Rockwood box out the Upper A (V-, big water). Also going to check on Canyon creek, I'll post how it goes.

Might try for Wolf Creek pass tomorrow morning on the way home.

Durango is sick this year... they finally have some water.

I am planning on being around D Town next Friday and Saturday. Love to hookup and run Lime, maybe Vallecito depending on level, definitely corner pocket.

I just went and looked at valle today for the first time this year @ 1.9. Lookin' good. I have never run it though. Have been waiting for a while. Anyone up for this weekend?
We are running the same lime combo of first and third gorge to rockwood tomarrow as mentioned above, if we have time. Levels are good as I checked them @ 5:30 this afternoon. adrenaline looks fun. Anybody into an afternoon session tommarrow. cell is 615-426-5822. Ask for John. Will be at work until three in hermosa and then meeting people at hermosa market then.
See you guys on the water.
