Durango boating

We are going to Durango today and are looking for suggestions for a easy class 2-3 run for tomorrow. I was thinking about the lower sections of the Animas. Anybody interested? We'll also need a shuttle, anybody run shuttles there?
Any beta would be appreciated.

I'm thinking about getting on the town run this afternoon (~5pm) for a little fun in the playboat. So far, I'm going solo, but let me know if you want to join me.

Between 32nd street bridge and 9th street bridge there is some great water. You could go beyond 9th street but Smelter rapid might be class 3.5-4 right now, I haven't looked at it the past 2 days.
Shuttle- if you have a bike it is REAL easy to drop your gear at the put-in, drive your vehicle to 9th and ride the river trail back to the put-in (about 1/2 hour round trip).

Have fun!!!
