Duckie Mayhem at Golden Today

Please be advised,

I will be taking a group of people to Golden today in 7 duckies. They are kids from a youth group and are really excited about it. I will try to teach them to not plow over kayakers that are playing in the james wave or library hole. I will also try to teach them not to yell "weeee" as they go through the wave or through holes. I will also force them to surf the holes so that their is some carnage for all you locals as pentance for taking over your teritory for the afternoon. Please be nice to them. We should be off at 4:00.

Gosh, what's the big deal? This is a public place. There are no rules in how you are allowed to enjoy the water. I hope we haven't become snobs. People playing in holes have to give way for people coming through. This isn't the California surf scene where people claim ownership on spots.

And 7 duckies making a few trips down isn't very disruptive anyway.

Just to update you guys.

There was mayhem today. The highlight was seeing 2, 15 yearold girls surf james wave in a tandem duckie.

and yes the locals were polite.
