if you look at the weather it should be cold enough at night that it'll just re-freeze everything. Plus, as fast as you row, you shouldn't need that much ice.

We froze 60 PBRs and lined the bottom of the cooler. Then added a few frozen milk jugs. Made sure all the food was frozen before hand and had absolutely no problem with the food keeping cold on Lodore. I have a colman xstream cooler.

I think we even had to thaw out a few beers at the take out to drink them.

The frozen beer trick is awesome - keystone, coors light, pbr, almost all crappy beers will freeze fine. when in doubt try one first.
