Don't post lame pix

Just because you have a digital camera and your buddy ran a cool drop, don't assume we all want to see that grainy out of focus shot. I just toured throught the creek gallery and while there are some spectacular entries, the number of so so shots that are out of focus or shot at the wrong part of the rapid, or just otherwise poor quality was really a bummer.

If the shot is not worth framing, it is not worth posting. Email it to the guy actually running the drop and be done with it.

As far as the good stuff goes, keep it coming. I have seen some great shots in there, but I hate clicking through 6 poor ones in a row to get to one good one. Remember not everyone has a hgh speed connection. The # of bad shots would keep any dial up user from EVER checking out the photo galleries.

Don't post lame posts

The same should be said for lame posts. If you've got one, post it to yourself or a buddy but don't subject the rest of us to it. Who wants to read that,.... or this?

Where the hell do you get off telling people what they can and cannot post? Don't be jealous because your class II pics are not worthy of being posted.

Wow, guess I hit a nerve here. Don't get me wrong, most people limit there posts to good pictures, in fact there are some excellent ones too. In particular ToddG has some sweet shots recently, thanks.

I am merely asking people not to post the ones that you would have thown out from the roll of film.[/i]

I'm sure that you are referring to some of the pics that I posted from Bear Creek. The reason I posted them was because I didn't know the guys that I took those pictures of - and even though some of the shots were not good, I thought they might still want them, so I put them on the 'buzz. I was driving home that night, had my camera in the car, and couldn't help but notice that Bear Creek was raging. Stopped to watch some creekers run that drop by the road. Some of the other guys watching on the bank mentioned that their buddies were coming down, so I offered to try and get pics. It was hard from the vantage point that I had. I did manage to get a few good shots and a pretty decent video, though. I doubt I'll be posting photos here again. Next time I'll post a link to photos on the web.

Sorry-ass photographer, Piedra

Holy crapola Batman, Boulder Boy has his panties in a wad

I think I will go out of my way now to over pixelate and post some photos. Offend the masses I say with grainy full-frontal nudity kayaking!

Piedra... I liked the photos, nice to see someone running Bear Creek. Nevermind the flametard nancy boy from Boulder, he probably forgot to have his Tofu flakes for breakfast and blew his fairy...erm ferry....

Just looked over the last couple pages of pics. They all seem to have some character and they all seem to be of decent quality.

However, I am not a magazine editor so I wont offer unsolicted opinions on on others peoples work.
