Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service: Missoula: Lochsa River near Lowell

Lochsa just dropped below 4'. 4' is kind of my gauge for when it gets "Lochsa-esque" with big waves. It's still a blast above 3', and worth checking out if you never have. It just won't be the big burly monster we all love.

I am a river, babe - I've got plenty of time, I don't know where I'm going, I'm just following the lines..... - "We are water" by Shaye

Im kinda waiting to see if i can get on someones permit while here. Its because i went thru Arco, craters of moon, sun valley direction first. I kinda started diriving, instead of waiting for your responses.....

So, should i go back south to Bruneau/ Jarbridge? West to the Payettes? or north to my original plan? whats a rough estimate of how long those levels will hold on Lochsa, grandjean, canyon, swirly, bruneau?

Again, all help is GREATLY appreciated!
The Bruneau is runnable in a raft (14' or under) down to around 1000cfs. It's at 1,100 right now and falling. The only drawback to the Bruneau is the Class V road to the put in. Worth it though as the Bruneau is perhaps the most scenic place I have ever been in my life.
