Do you need a permit for Ruby/Horsethief?

I want to take some college friends on a nice relaxed over-nighter. Just wondering if any body knows if Ruby/Horsethief is still unpermited. The Bible gave a wrong phone # for BLMs permit office in junction.

Thanks, Joe

Still unpermitted

As far as I know, they will keep this unpermitted as the traffic is still pretty light..

Joe,

While you don't need a permit, I think, however that you DO need firepan and groover. You may want to try directory assistance in Grand Junction for the BLM.

Yeah, dont forget the groover. All you need is a 16footer to carry all the beer & gear, some white chocolate mushrooms, an old man named Blue, throw in one jew and a guy named stu. Mind the deerflys,..... those fuckin deerfly's. Oh, and a legitimate shuttle, not one that breaks down in BFE outside of Westwater in the middle of the fuckin desert in mid July!!! Its a blast though....seriously.
