From the National Weather Service 5/12, am:

.HYDROLOGY...MANY RIVERS...SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS WILL SEE
SIGNIFICANT RISES THIS WEEKEND AS WARM TEMPERATURES ACCELERATE THE
SNOW MELT OVER THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS. PEAK FLOWS WILL OCCUR DURING
THE LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING HOURS.

I would like to do the Piedra as soon as it’s up. What are you doing? I will be at the 4 corners takeout at after workish for surfing or a run if you want. Also checked on the E Fk SJ, and it was low because of the cold too. Wood reported in the second rock garden, but I don’t remember enough of the run to know where that is! Anyway, be heads up if your going over there.

Also mtb is good, Cascade is still a little mucky. South Rim was just excellent the other evening. Although it is getting shorter because of the encroaching gravel pit. Get it while it’s still there. Sorry I didn’t let you know I was going, I will try to do better. Planning on going to ride Hay Camp above Dolores soon (or a W. Dol road ride), with a Stoner kayak run too? Interested?
