I've run Deso at slightly lower levels, but allowed 7 days. As suggested, early start for less wind and cooler temps for best rowing conditions. No skeeters! Yet a lot of non-biting gnats and other insects. Due to last year's high flows and this years low water, beaches are fantastic. Joe Hutch has mellowed, others are just pin ball maneuvers. Any day on the river is better than...
