Dear Friends and Colleagues:
As most of you know, our adorable Damon, about to turn 35, died in a motorcycle accident last August. In his memory, we have set up a fund to build a playground for him in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico in connection with a daycare center, called Casa de los Angeles which Annie's mother is building there for indigent Mexican women and their children. Many of you have already generously contributed to this fund, and for that we are most grateful.
Planning this playground, to be called Parque de Paniman (Waterman in Nepalese) has become a labor of love and a wonderful way of keeping Damon's spirit alive. I would encourage you to visit the website at
www.casadelosangeles.org to see the wonderful work of this non profit. We're thrilled to be a part of the wonderful work this organization is doing in San Miguel.
On March 1, as a fundraiser for Parque de Paniman, but more to celebrate Damon's life, we are showing an awe inspiring kayaking film. We want to share with those of you who can join us Damon's wonderful sense of adventure and his enormous respect and awe for the rivers he navigated and places he explored. Please try and come and pass this invitation on to others you think might be interested.
