Crystal - avalanche down?

On the low side of runnable, was thinking about heading in there for an after work romp sometime this week maybe... Anyone run it this year yet? Wood hazards? I think I ran it last year down to 600 and it seemed to be alright but I can't remember. Any beta would be great, thnx

Ran it today. No major wood. It was good to go!

Next time I will be hitting Narrows too....

Thanks lmeyers that's what I was wanting to hear. Really enjoy that stretch of river! Talked with another mb member today and he said it was good to go as well. Looking forward to getting out there sometime this week

I'd love to paddle any section of the Crystal any day this week. I had a look at the meatgrinder the other day at about 540cfs and it didn't look half bad if you want to do that too. Just give me text at 706-296-2708 (I don't have cell service at my house) or message me on here.

Sounds like we might try to get in the Grinder tonight (Monday) around 6pm, maybe a bit sooner if possible, if anyone's interested. The more the merrier

Got on avalanche this afternoon at 568 cfs and it was all good to go... A little bony but still fun. The main drop had a few sleepers to be prepared for but a nice change to after-work shoshone laps
