Cross Mtn info

I'm thinking bout going up to Cross this weekend. I havent run it before, so whats it like at this level ~2000cfs? Bring the playboat or the creeker? III-IV, or IV+ - V? Any info would be great.

Thanks

Josh

What's up Josh,
I'd say that you should bring your playboat. It's big and you can get sturn squirted pretty easily, but just pick reasonable lines and you'll be fine. Go from left to right on Mammoth Falls at this level. You should go down the Selway with me. Forget about work. Think about it.

At 2000 cfs, class III+ if you scout. There is one hole on the left side that can wake you up after mammoth falls.

Playboat is fine.

Curtis, sunday, cross, lets go. Umm ya, I wish the selway, but work is work, NPS is strict, it was hard to get in, so Im not just giving it up after one week. But have fun, call me when you get back, we'll go hit some shit.
