cross creek?

chad.... are you working on cleanig this? i'v got a group that is ready to come get it done if we can get in there. what is the snow pack like? let me know.

Last fall would have been perfect but I never got around to it. Now we have to deal with the Tigawon gate being closed until June 20th. The other access would be from the bottom up from Maloit Park which might be doable but I will have to check on the snow (I will look at it in the next few days). Another negative is the flow. Its already ~100 and boatable flows can start as low as 120 so it would be difficult working in the creek. Most of the downfall is very large (16"+) and pretty much would require chainsaws to accomplish much of anything which brings us to another negative. The wilderness border is right around the Buddha section and based on what that guy dealt with on Vallecito I am not interested in working past that point with powered tools. I am all about doing what we can, just not willing to risk it with the fines.

As far as boating goes, my guess is late June this year for all of those that are interested. Here is the gauge link:
