Crested Butte/OBJ Season is ON!

Good morning.

I am happy to report that water is in the Crested Butte Creeks and access to them is open. As of yesterday, Slate and OBJ are clear of any new wood...and even some old wood in the Slate (with rising flows new wood that might come down).

Game on for the CB zone! Hope to see you all up here.

Oh,. and the Gunnison WW park is fantastic...of you like large, fast, retentive waves - steep glass with foam that opens up aerial wave trick options. Don't forget the playboat..

American Whitewater's website and river stewardship projects are funded by paddlers. Please join, renew, or make a donation to help us protect whitewater rivers in Colorado and nationwide.

the flow is always lower in the morning than in the evening. moonlight drunk runs are always your best bet to get good flow.

see you there this weekend hopefully. kato says he is going to run the nf slate so that would be fun.

Yeah, Sean as you and Kato both know, late evening runs after blowing up your truck in the slate and waiting out a downpour usually produce best flows......

I think I'll be up there this weekend on my way to Silverton, let's talk.
