haha, that post was a product of document review induced rage. Anyway, I think the slate gauge is TKO'd, no longer in use. So, we'll have to rely on visuals for OBJ, Daisy & Slate, and check the East gauge as well. Hope that stuff is running big for memorial day. get her done until then.

the gauge sucks. it only reads whats in the slate right below cb, theres no barometer at all for how much is in what. if the gauge says "795", you logically assume like half in OBJ, but you never know, there may only be 200 in OBJ and say 400+ comin down the slate....visuals are the way to go....and the east gauge, the farthest one upstream is at cement creek....not too close.

we ran the east today, it was low but ok..Just so people know, there are two big new trees that fell across the bottom slide, right before you get out before Stupid Falls..I don't recommend running it, I didn't see the trees until I was running the slide because the river kind of curves, you can go far left right up against the wall. It is going to be a mission getting those out of there...
I didn't look at it, but OBJ may have been running today at a low level. Tomorrow it should definately be good to go.

i agree, thank you.

while we are on the subject of that graph, notice all the snow we got after premature melting periods, at least part of that (imho most of it) was getting it into the ground and is now contributing to the total runoff for the year, early, yes short, shorter, yeah, a freakishly hot week could put us pretty high.. cwrf er -- check this one out

http://www.cbrfc.noaa.gov/river/station/flowplot/flowplot.cgi?id=ALEC2&stats=on&cdate=05%2F10%2F07& pdays=10&fdays=90&hsim=&swin=&showflow=on&mpp=16

make of it what you will, projections based on upstream sites arent as powerful as the ALEC2 site, but its a pretty cool website
