Big thanks to Ben, Chris, Pedro & to Marty for putting it all together!

Everyone came out with smiles at the end, no major carnage, only a snapped paddled & an almost lost breakdown (names have been omitted to protect the innocent!)

Damn, thought I was gonna be the only one on the Class VI Portage, then along came a bunch more. Good rule of thumb... don't follow my lines!

Good paddling with Tim, Hojo, Kevin, Bruno, Dawn (the only lady, who coincidentally showed up all us walkers!), Beau, damn missing two (but that's a record for me getting so many names), so that leaves "Smiles" & "The Sheriff".

The proving grounds is aptly named, will be working on the skills so I can be back up there again this year!

Thanks to everyone that made it to the clinics. Chris and ben had a great time and really enjoyed everyone. We talked about it at dinner afterwards and bottom-line it was fantastic to see everyone stepping it up a notch! Dawn wins the cake for sure Hans... She had the most scary look on her face of anyone but then always fired up the big lines!!! Way to go!

Totally Awesome paddlers/paddling all around!

On the river, I can abandon who I am and what I've done. However brief it lasts, while on the river I am nothing important and everything insignificant. I am flotsam, and happy to be so.
