Costa Rica

I was just wondering if any one had any advice for a trip to Costa Rica. Anybody have any experience with companies they think are just awesome?

It sort of seems like a guided trip is the way to go with a place to stay, people who know the rivers, and boats.

Any good/bad experiences would be cool to here about.

I went on the Pacuare with Rios Tropicales and it was awesome. Class IV water with great guides, hikes, cool treehouse lodge. I would go with them again. Its a great place!

Just go down there in January and stay at the Hotel Americana in Turialba. Be careful, Costa Rica imposes an oversized shipping restriction during the holidays, so ask the airline before you bring your 'surfboards'.
