Converting a Werner paddle to a breakdown?

I broke my paddle recently and did a cheapo fiberglass job on it to fix it, so I don't want to use it as my primary paddle(it's also not very balanced now). So I was wanting to convert it to a breakdown/takeapart paddle. Anyone ever tried this? Any tips?

You can buy a kit at most shops, (or they can order it), from Werner to convert to a 2-4 pc paddle.

It really depends on what Werner paddle you have. The best you can most likely do is make a two piece. The oblong shape in the hand areas prevents you from using a round part in a none round area. Werner does sell a 4 piece paddle, but it's orginally built for theat purpose.

It will cost about $17 for the paddle parts and $5-10 for glue.
