You finally got a run description for every state. Now all we have to do is get entries with actual information for all of those where put-in and take-out is the only beta on the run. Can't you make it so people have to enter a real description when they enter a run? It's soooo disappointing when you click on a cool sounding run and get no useful information whatsoever.

When are you going international? I was talking with some people about how hard it is to get reliable beta for Mexico and other countries. We should just start recording our run info on EF.

Thanks Count! We've had a ton of paddlers from around the US helping out. They are the ones making it happen. I'd prefer not to have runs listed on EddyFlower without full descriptions/photos, however, we had to list the core run beta (river, run, difficulty, length, put-in/take-out, elevations) for all states wanting to compete in the Vertical Challenge. If any of you have run descriptions or photos you'd like to share with everyone we'd be happy to upload them or you can simply login in and click 'Add Run' on the main Rivers page and upload the goods. For example, check out this recently added sic after work run in WV: Deckers Creek.

As for going International, that is the plan ... looking to tackle that project this coming offseason. We have already lined up some sweet run beta from Scottland, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, and Canada. If anyone has international runs they'd like to contribute...pm or email me.

Speaking of new projects we recently had developers volunteer to help write a new Photos feature and will start on a new Apple iPhone flow integration, should be sweet. If any developers, designers or paddlers out their have an interest in expanding on what we have done or running with a new idea of your own we'd welcome the help. Plenty of great ideas out there that promote paddling, get more youth involved and unite the sport.
