My folks are planning on coming to Colorado the weekend of the Gore Race. I am hoping to get them on a commercial raft trip down the Pumphouse section on Friday August 18th.
Anybody have an opinion on what the best rafting company would be?
Nova is an okay company. Or check out River Runners, Kevin the owner is a good guy and Spencer, the head boatman is as well. They only send out experienced guides to that section. Have fun.
Red Tail (1-888-733-3599 or 970-726-1197)out of Fraser is great, ask for Tony for a guide. Also there is a new company in Winter Park called Adventures in Whitewater that is sure to be fun.
