i dont mind paying a small fee, but ive heard of some folks getting charged up to 10$ per person for access at state bridge
There is no legal access from bond, guides have private access there by a bridge, but not private groups. I didn't think state bridge charged $10/head. River left, just past state bridge there is a sketchy road that takes you down to some primitive campgrounds, you could maybe put in there, but it's probably more of a pain in the butt than paying the fees at state bridge..
I was talking to my buddies about how there really needs to be a public takeout and maybe even some campgrounds and such at bond or thereabouts to alleviate some of the congestion that occurs at both state bridge and catamount. It would really allow you to mix things up a bit, allowing for other options than "pumphouse to state bridge, state bridge to catamount"..
