Hey Twurp... just buy a guide book so you will know how to get to all these runs too.

Like it or not, all of us are the result of a sexual act.

Colorado Guidebooks

CRC is a great guide book. Allaboutrivers is a good resource too. While it doesn't have a great deal of detail, they've added some cool new features where people can write their own reviews of trips. I like how the streamflows are built right into guidebook. They also have a cool search that can help locate trips at

I've heard through the grapevine that they're looking for editors to help add some meat to the site. Don't know much about that though.

Thanks for the link to Allaboutrivers.... It is a good additional rersource. CRC has better detail and many more rivers and pictures (for the ones I looked at anyway.. )

The three sections I boat the most were not there (gunnison town run, taylor and lake fork). I guess you don't really need a guide for these. It is pretty self explanitory, and local beta is easy once you get here but they weren't even mentioned.

And the section on the Gunnison Gorge doesn't mention anything about the rapids, campsites, or that there is a steep one mile hike to the put in. That would be a bit of a suprise.

So I think AAR needs a little work.
