Colo Spgs: where to buy good 20mil boxes?

More of a rafting issue perhaps, but I'm looking for some good quality 20mil rocket boxes -- for an upcoming GC trip. They do need to be waterproof as one will be a groover There's no place to buy them in Salida, and I'll be driving to Springs on Thursday...

Where's a good place in Colorado Springs to look for those? I know an Army surplus store on Academy, south of Fountain, but not sure how big their selection is or if they're even still in business.

I also heard that there's a great one near Manitou Springs, but don't have any details.

Any suggestions? Thanks,

tom.

I don't know what a 20mil box is but if you're looking for an Army surpus store there is one on B Street...just north of Ft. Carson Gate 4. You get there from Academy like this:

Your coming east on 24? When you hit I25 go south until you hit Academy. At the ramp, turn left (now going toward the mountains) There'll be a sign for B Street. Lock your doors, it's sketchy. The store is a couple miles north on B.

Check out Glenn's Army Surplus. It's down by south Nevada Ave and I-25. It's a few blocks North of I-25 on a cross street, between Nevada and Tejon. One block north of Las Vegas st. Here is the address and phone.

114 E Mill St.
719 634-9828

They have a large supply and good prices.

Edited to add that Surplus City is on West Colorado Blvd at around 28th street. Can't miss it.
